AFCI
AFCI is solidly back in the rides business – to anything in our local area.  Need to grocery shop?  Want to visit a friend?   Interested in a community event?  Have a doctor’s appointment?  Call 207-824-4444 to reach our N2N (Neighbor to Neighbor) Rides program.

We are looking for volunteers to help with the N2N program.  Are you interested in driving your community neighbors who can’t drive themselves?  Or maybe you’d rather volunteer from your home.  We are looking for a phone coordinator to monitor our phone message system, return calls to clients and enter requests into our simple software to find volunteer drivers.  Interested in either of these volunteer options?  Email us: agefriendlybethel@gmail.com.

COMMUNITY.
Bethel Chamber of Commerce (www.bethelmaine.com) for community events, including SeniorsPlus Chair and Mat Yoga on Zoom.  See what’s on at The Gem Theater (thegemtheater.com).

People are really enjoying the new ice rink at the former Ethel Bisbee School on Philbrook St., Bethel -  great work, Bethel Rec Board and many volunteers!

Bethel Food Pantry, first and third Wednesday of each month, 9:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m.

MSAD 44 Adult and Continuing Ed will be back to their tech help evenings with Josh in March.  In the meantime, if you want help over the phone, the Adult Ed. Office can connect you with Josh: 824-2136, x 1340.

Mahoosuc Messenger - tune in to all the events and services in our corner of Western Maine.  Click on https:/mahoosucmessengerpodcast.com to listen to the most current episode; you can also enter your email address to receive new episodes.
